Franziskus Schorr

Franziskus Schorr is completing his degree in Management & Technology at the Technical University of Munich, with a focus on the intersection of business, technology, and innovation. He brings more than two years of experience in venture capital, gained through his work as a Junior Investment Analyst at a leading German deep tech fund. In addition, he is an Investment Partner at a student-led angel syndicate with a presence across Oxford, Cambridge, and Imperial College London.

His academic interests lie in startup financing, founding teams, and deep tech innovation. At the Science of Startups Initiative, his current research focuses on the role of human capital in founding success, with a particular interest in how founders’ age influences startup outcomes. Alongside his academic and professional work, Franziskus is also involved as a volunteer with Amnesty International in Munich.
